Scotatto — Etsian of the Week

Now here is a unique, eclectic set! I just love these designs by Etsian Scotatto……..all handmade of leather and other materials. Yes, even the shoes (scroll down). There were so many darling items in her shoppe that I had a VERY hard time choosing which ones to showcase here. So be sure to stop by check them out for yourself!

The Great Shoe Splurge

Well, I finally broke down and bought an adorable pair of handmade shoes from Etsy. I’ve been eyeing the shoes at three different shops for a while now, although the one I ended up purchasing from was actually a very recent find via the front page. 😉 I started admiring and thinking about the unique shoes from HydraHeart first, but after reading some of the feedback, I wasn’t quite confident enough to buy a pair. Also, the toes on their shoes are SO short…….which would be adorable if you have a smaller foot/toe area than I do. 😉
The shoes from SmartFish are really cool, and some of them are even embellished, but they are too far out of my price range.
So I decided to buy a pair from TheGeneration, my newest find. The shoes were reasonably priced, even if it is more than I normally spend, and they are SO cute! They had great feedback saying how comfortable and cute the shoes were, and how well they fit. I can’t wait until mine come, but it will probably take a month or so before they’re finished and on their way. That’s alright…..it will give me something to look forward to. Once they come I can blog my own photos and give a full report. So far I give TheGeneration an A+ for cuteness, perfect communication, and reasonable price. Plus she was even willing to work with me for a different size than is normally offered; I wear a size 11. 😉

Here are some new (and very darling) shoes from HydraHeart on Etsy. I just love these designs, colors and linings. The green ones below are my favorites.
🙂 I mean, how cute are they, with their textured outer fabric and adorable cotton lining? Hydra Heart even offers heavy-duty soles and memory foam insoles for their shoes now. How neat is that? I think I really need a pair of these once I make some more money. *sigh*

I wanted to share my favorite new blog, which has taken up so much of my computer time recently. I cannot seem to pull myself away from the screen and stop looking at each and every one of her lovely and enviable clothing photos.
I first found Emily’s blog last week after buying a wonderful art print from her Etsy shoppe. She has a very nice art blog, which led me to this one: Some Girls Wander By Mistake. I’ve been drooling over these darling flats from JCPenny ever since I first saw them in their catalog, a month or so ago. I love the pleats, buckle, patterned lining, and also the fact that they have a very short heel; something I need since I’m so tall. So when I saw these at the store ON SALE a few days ago, I knew I HAD to have them. Surprisingly they fit me, although these are a size 10 and I normally wear 11. I wanted the yellow pair, but they were out of stock in the 10, so I settled for brown, which are just as adorable. I should have bought black too………but then do I really need that many pairs of shoes? 😉 They really are cute though………maybe if I go back…………

I love this brand! Decree has the cutest styles.
