I ran across this darling Etsy treasury today and I thought you all might like a peek. 🙂 I’d love to have the metal leaf necklace and the acorn bobby pins. Oh, and I can’t forget the striped dupioni dress!
Leave a comment and share which ones are your faves!

This treasury was created by Etsian Kellyisnice

Just a few snippets of what’s been going on this week: some odds & ends that don’t fit anywhere!

The last package I wrapped up for Etsy: a single red rose.
Front of the tag —
Adorable bird cardstock – came from a scrapbook paper stack that I bought at work
Umbrella tag – handmade by me using my own stamp and Sculpey rubber clay
Bottom half of tag – snipped from a second-hand book

Back of the tag

A disgusting spider! If you’re shrinking back from the computer in horror, don’t worry…..I did the same thing when I first saw this photo! Somehow this spidey looks a lot worse on the computer, illuminated by the camera flash, than it did when I was kneeling a couple of inches from it in the dim evening light. There was a pane of glass between me and the spider, or else you would NEVER have caught me so close!

Last but not least: a lovely little treasury that was featured on Etsy today: Such sweet colors: http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=67486
Happy Tuesday!
These gorgeous necklaces speak for themselves……. all made from linen thread and handsewn silk flowers. Very labor intensive, I’m sure………..and utterly Be-a-u-ti-ful!!!

wow, wow, wow!

And one of my favorites………

I LOVE these handmade pillows that I found on Etsy. They’re not actually for sale; just samples of what can be made with a scrap bag of vintage fabrics. (They do sell those! :-)) I think these are the neatest things…………they make me jealous and happy at the same time. 😉

Etsian of the Week: paperhill

Simply gorgeous cuffs!

I’m pleased to present some new additions to my UmbrellaAve. Etsy shoppe : Fabric gift tags. They’re made from layers of coordinating fabrics and a middle layer of wool felt to give it thickness. They have neat fraying edges and stamped “To & From” sections on the backs. I’ve handwritten “A gift for you” on each of them. Check these out in my Etsy shoppe! They make the perfect addition to any gift. And……….they’re “green”, too!

Why did these turn out sideways? Who knows?! My computer has been doing weird things to me lately.

Etsian of the Week: cocoricooo
Such pretty, organic, flowing designs! I would love a piece from this seller someday. 😀

This dress is made of raw silk………….how gorgeous is that?!
Just look at all of those pintucks and ruffles = happiness. 🙂

Now this is a dreamy, creamy skirt.

For your viewing pleasure, a couple of fun treasuries that I found on Etsy. The first one includes one of my felt umbrellas! This is my first time being included in anyone’s directory/blog and I’m so excited about it!

Leah Sutton’s Treasury –Take a peek at my umbrella, please
Tresijas’s Treasury –Fun circus theme with red an blue colors. This one is so crunchy and inspirational……..at least to me.
While browsing the treasuries, I also found this cute shoppe: Pizpireta
I like the old-fashioned, yet unique and quirky designs. 🙂

Here are some new (and very darling) shoes from HydraHeart on Etsy. I just love these designs, colors and linings. The green ones below are my favorites.
🙂 I mean, how cute are they, with their textured outer fabric and adorable cotton lining? Hydra Heart even offers heavy-duty soles and memory foam insoles for their shoes now. How neat is that? I think I really need a pair of these once I make some more money. *sigh*

I’d say it’s high time for another Etsian of the week. Things have been so busy around here, stocking the shoppe, visiting with friends, stopping by graduations…………I haven’t had much time to update the old blog. So here goes!
