Hi all! I’m back! I can’t believe that April is already half over………..but that’s what happens when you’re sick for two weeks. My ear has stopped torturing me, although I cannot hear out of it very well, and there’s a perpetual pounding going on inside. No pain………..just noise. But at least I’m up and around again, and working on some projects. I made a little ipod cozy the other day. It’s sized for the Shuffle and is pretty cute, but still needs some tweaking. Another project that’s in the works is a new Etsy shoppe. I’ve been putting together some of the items I want to sell (very slowly) and also the clip art, etc. for packaging and banners. That is going pretty well. Be on the lookout for the opening of Umbrella Ave. in the coming months!

I’m pretty tired out tonight from cleaning this afternoon. I seem to get tired more easily lately………..part of the recovery process I guess. Our pastor and his family are coming for a farewell dinner this weekend and we are in the midst of preparations. Then my sister April will be having her sweet sixteen party the weekend after that. And about a week later it will be Alayna’s 13th. So yeah, there’s a lot going on. Not to mention I still have not made their gifts. I’m a very last minute sort of person, which drives my mom crazy sometimes. 😉

I guess I’ll settle down now and watch this week’s episode of LOST, which I taped. I am obsessed with this show and I can’t wait to see what happened this week! I’ll try to keep my little blog updated, so be sure to check back again. 🙂

I woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible pain in my ear. It was like a sore, shooting, stressful ache, and being half asleep, I didn’t know what was wrong with me. So I put a cotton ball soaked in Colloidal Silver in my ear, and took a couple Advil. When I woke up again this morning, I looked it up on the Internet. I should have known it was an ear infection……….but hey…….it’s been almost 20 years since I’ve had one.

Anyway, the pain kept getting worse and worse, until I could hardly stand it anymore. My mom put some more silver in my ear and made me lay on my side for about 10 minutes. 10 torturous minutes. My ear throbbed like nothing else, it sounded and felt like there was a machine inside my ear contracting and pushing fluids around. NASTY. Then I let the silver drain out and my mom dropped some herbal Lobelia in, sealing my ear with a cotton ball. Well, I sat on the couch watching Bob Ross, while furrowing my brows, and feeling like my ear would rip off, taking part of my head with it. I never knew how badly an earache could hurt. It’s a lot better now, but my Advil is starting to wear off, and my ear is pounding slightly again. But the good thing about this experience is that I get to rest (which I need and probably wouldn’t do, if it wasn’t for the earache) and when my kids have earaches someday, I’ll have a lot more sympathy for them. 😉

I’m off to rest and take my Advil. Anyone out there reading this, feel free to pray for me. I can use all the help I can get!

It was such a lovely spring day, that my family and I decided to walk down to the creek behind our house. We like to roam around among the trees and get close to the water now and then, but today we just walked up and down the hill leading there. 3 times. It was good exercise, I got some pretty snapshots, and I was thoroughly hot and more sweaty than I’d like to be, by the time we finished. I don’t like to get hot, but there was a nice breeze and it smelled so good outside after a long winter indoors.
Here are a few snapshots I’d like to share. The last three were taken of my favorite outdoor cat, Bunny. He’s the cutest thing ever……….don’t you agree? All of our darlings were enjoying the sunshine and being cozy with my sisters. I think they’re glad that winter is over, too.

DUN Selangor bubar UMNO dapat telur

Ketua Wanita PKR Zuraida Kamaruddin mendakwa rakyat Selangor akan bangkit mempertahankan negeri itu sekiranya DUN dibubarkan untuk membolehkan pilihan raya baru diadakan.

Malah, ia akan menyebabkan Umno kehilangan semua kerusi, kata Zuraida dalam ucapan penggulungannya di kongres Wanita PKR di Shah Alam hari ini.

“Kenapa nak bubar? Isu bubar tidak mungkin (berlaku) dan satu perkara yang mengarut. Dan perkara ini memalukan rakyat negeri Selangor dan meningkatkan kemarahan rakyat Selangor.

“Dan kalau nak pilihan raya negeri, Umno perlu bersedia untuk 56-0 (kerusi DUN).

“Sekiranya terjadi (pilihan raya negeri), rakyat akan memberontak dan Umno akan sifar di Selangor,” katanya dalam ucapan tersebut dengan penuh bersemangat.



Nota : Super yakin betul Ketua Wanita PKR sehingga tak sedar rakyat pun dah meluat dengan pergolakan politik yg segaja dibuat oleh PKR dari pemilihan DUN Kajang yg tak sepatut diadakan hinggalah pergolakkan MB Selangor. Sedar diri lah Kak Zuraidah.

Keputusan Pemilihan PKR 2014

Keputusan muktamad pemilihan PKR yang diumumkan hari ini menyaksikan beberapa nama-nama besar dalam parti itu terkeluar daripada barisan kepimpinannya. Presiden PKR, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail mengekalkan jawatannya tanpa bertanding, manakala timbalannya, Azmin Ali berjaya mempertahankan jawatannya dengan menewaskan pencabarnya, Setiausaha Agung PKR, Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

Adakah rakyat Selangor setuju Wan Azizah jadi MB mereka

Dengan perkembangan terbaru ini, Khalid akan memohon menghadap Sultan Selangor untuk memberi nasihat tentang langkah-langkah seterusnya.
“Sehingga Sultan membuat keputusan muktamad, saya akan meneruskan pentadbiran kerajaan negeri Selangor bersama 4 ahli Exco daripada PAS bagi memastikan rakyat tidak terkesan dengan krisis politik ini,” Khalid Ibrahim
Pada mesyuaratnya pagi ini, PAS memutuskan bersetuju dengan pilihan PKR melantik Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail menggantikan Khalid. Parti Islam itu juga turut menyerahkan nama Timbalan Presiden PKR Mohamed Azmin Ali sebagai nama calon lain untuk diangkat menjadi menteri besar.
Soalnya Adakah rakyat Selangor setuju Wan Azizah jadi MB mereka?
